School Council
At The Mead we have a School Council made up of 12 nominated children from the Year One and Two classes. The School Council are voted for by their class peer's. The children within the council are each given different responsibilities to help make our school the best it can be. The School Council meet several times a half-term depending on the decisions that need making.
New School Councillors are voted in each term to ensure that a number of children are given the opportunity to represent their class.
Previous School Councils have helped select a new climbing frame for the playground, chosen play leaders for the Reception and Key Stage One playtimes and given feedback on school lunches.
