On Thursday 17th March we were lucky to have Abi Robertson from Surrey Fire and Rescue visit Year 2 to talk to us about fire safety.

On the 23rd February 2022, Year one visited Brookland Museum.
On Wednesday 2nd February a Polar explorer called Becky Hopkins from 'Education through Expeditions' visited Year 2.
Reception were very lucky to have a visit from the Surrey fire & Rescue Service.
Nursery had a very exciting visit from a double decker bus last week.
To end the autumn term, the whole school worked on a shared reading and writing project based on Nick Sharratt’s new picture book “Oh No! Shark in the Snow!” To start off the event Nick Sharratt visited our school virtually. He read to the children “Oh No! Shark in the Snow!” and taught them how to draw some of the pictures from his other famous picture books.
On Friday 5th November, we had our Sensational Starter for our Great Fire of London topic in Year 2.
Diwali celebrations in Nursery went with a bang!
Reception were really excited about diwali.
We enjoyed a lovely Harvest assembly, where we gave thanks and the children sang songs beautifully. Mrs Creasey was very proud.
