On Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th March, 18 Year 2 children sang in the annual Epsom and Ewell Schools Music Festival at the Epsom Playhouse, together with 13 other schools from the borough.
The Mead, took part in World Poetry Day on Tuesday 21st March 2023. We spent the day immersing ourselves in words, exploring language, reading poetry by famous authors and writing our own poetry linked to the topic of ‘Spring’.
The children in reception started the day with an exciting workshop.

This year to celebrate Children’s Mental Health Week, the children at The Mead Infant and Nursery school all thought about the theme, ‘Let’s connect.’
The children were greeted by an intrepid Earth Explorer who invited them on an adventure to Antarctica.
Nursery spent the week preparing for our Lunar New Year Celebration.
Year R were lucky to have a professional storyteller, Rich visit.
On Wednesday 7th December, Year 2 went to Worcester Park Baptist Church.
Nursery launched into space on Friday, just like Baby Bear in the book ‘Whatever Next?’
